Passover

Passover is a celebration of human freedom, human courage, and the human ingenuity that leads us from slavery to freedom and from despair to dignity. Our annual Passover Seder is an eagerly anticipated tradition at Kahal Chaverim. We gather for a congregation Seder that includes an excellent “pot luck” dinner brought by our members.

We observe by reading from a Humanistic Haggadah that blends the traditional Passover story and rituals with stories of our modern struggles for freedom from oppression, in order to make Passover a more meaningful celebration for Humanistic Jews.
